History : 

Universal Convent School, founded as a public school with English medium in 1996 in Kaladhungi (Nainital). It is a private institution run by Universal Education Society Chhoti Haldwani, Kaladhungi and is one of the prestigious schools in Nainital. 

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi, which is the largest educational board in the country.

School Profile :

Universal Convent School is a co-educational day school, with approximately 710 students on its rolls. These children in the preprimary and junior / senior branches, study in the two different campuses. The school considers education to be a life long process, which should have a strong foundation with English as the medium of instruction and giving Hindi and Sanskrit their rightful place in the curriculum. The school aims at developing among the students a love for learning and a desire to excel at every level. The school also aims at equipping the students with the intellectual and practical skills, modern out look and love for motherland, imbibing its culture, heritage and traditions. 

To sum up, the mission of Universal Convent School is "to open doors and minds" and prepare the ground for the future of the nation.
